FHS stays undefeated, readies for second round of district play

Now 4-0 in District 28-4A play, the Fredericksburg High School Volleyball team is looking to begin the second round of district games.

The Billies beat Boerne High in three sets, 25-17, 25-19, 25-21, and Canyon Lake in three sets, 25-17, 25-19, 25-20, to close the first half of district matches last week.

The Billies, 21-6 overall, faced Hondo High School for the second time Tuesday night.

FHS defeated Hondo in three sets on Sept. 22.

FHS returns home Tuesday, Oct. 17 to face Bandera on senior night. Game time is 6 p.m.



The Boerne High Greyhounds, one of the Billies biggest rivals, came to town Friday, Oct. 6 for a high energy match up.

The Billies took the win, 25-17, 25-19 and 25-21.

Senior University of Mississippi commit Aubrey Sultemeier led the team with 12 kills, followed by Rose Stuewe with nine.

Senior libero Ali Grona had 15 digs and Kathryn Rodriquez had 13.
