Now that the 2026 Gillespie County Primary elections are over, it is a good time to once again reflect upon the results and lessons learned: Early on, the activists in town continued distributing an email newsletter with the message of “.... refrain from participating in the socalled “hand count” of the early votes, which could sabotage hand counting for future elections in Gillespie County and throughout the state of Texas.”
