A Fredericksburg’s founding family celebrates 150 years of agriculture
The Lochte family started farming in the area around the time Fredericksburg became a town. The current generation of owners, Michael and David Lochte, received the Texas Department of Agriculture Family Land Heritage (FLH) Award for F.C. Lochte Farm’s 150th year of continual operation. However, the Lochtes outpace even that milestone.
