The Gillespie County Sheriff ’s Office responded to 358 calls for service during the week of April 13-19. They also handled 182 traffic stops, issued 121 warnings and 20 citations and responded to 7 traffic accidents 6 major and 1 minor. They made 24 arrests for the week and as of Monday, April 20 there were 79 people in the Gillespie County Jail.
