The Gillespie County Sheriff’s Office responded to 275 calls for service during the week of March 23-30. They also handled 104 traffic stops, issued 71 warnings and 21 citations and responded to 6 traffic accidents — 4 major and 2 minor. They made 18 arrests for the week and as of Monday, March 30 there were 72 people in the Gillespie County Jail.
