Among the many contributors to Cooking in Comfort, Vol. I was Mrs. Fritz Stieler, the former Lillian Willke, who submitted several recipes in 1982. I met her only once when she and her daughter stopped by das Peach Haus. Lillian grew up in Blanco and married into the well-known Stieler family, whose roots run deep across Kendall, Gillespie and Kerr counties.
