What industry is better suited to a ground-up success story than craft beer? It’s classic Americana: dutiful beer drinkers roam into careers through warehouse jobs to find themselves, years later, splashing lager down their shirts as they sip victory out of a Brewery of the Year trophy. It’s a true story, too — it happened to Craig Rowan and Carlos Santiago last month at the 2026 Texas Craft Brewers Cup.
