Sheriff’s Office makes eight ICE detentions

The Gillespie County Sheriff’s Office responded to 377 calls for service during the week of March 2-8. They also handled 209 traffic stops, issued 134 warnings and 32 citations and responded to 9 traffic accidents, 2 major and 7 minor. They made 11 arrests for the week and as of Monday, March 9 there were 65 people in the Gillespie County Jail.
