Sales slow in 2025, but ’26 starts fast

While sales receipts and tourism numbers were down in 2025, according to the Gillespie County Economic Development Commission’s quarterly report to the Fredericksburg City Council on Tuesday, business owners said they have seen an increase in sales and tourists in January and February.
