The Gillespie County Sheriff’s Office responded to 270 total calls for the week of Jan. 26-Feb. 1. They made 119 traffic stops and issued 85 warnings and 18 citations. They also responded to 12 traffic accidents, four were considered major and eight were minor. The arrested six and the jail population as of Monday, Feb. 2 was 69.
