The Gillespie County Sheriff’s Office responded to 318 calls for service during the week of Jan. 5-11. They also handled 157 traffic stops, issued 111 warnings and 38 citations and responded to 7 traffic accidents one major and six minor. They made 24 arrests for the week and as of Monday, Jan. 13 there were 75 people in the Gillespie County Jail.
