Gillespie resident dies in plane crash

Emergency responders were dispatched to a small-plane crash on Wednesday, Dec. 31, in northern Gillespie County, near Keese-Sagebiel Road. Richard (Randy) Bills, 72, was the sole occupant of the plane and died in the crash.
