Four hundred guests attended Fredericksburg Tea Party’s Boots & BBQ fundraiser held Saturday, Sept. 20, at the YO Hotel and Conference Center in Kerrville. FTP welcomed Alex Newman as the keynote speaker. A silent auction and barbecue dinner helped Fredericksburg Tea Party raise over $37,000. FTP chooses an organization(s) that fulfills the basic principles of FTP to be recipients of a portion of the proceeds. In honor of the sacrifice made by firefighters during the July 4 flood, Center Point, Hunt and Ingram volunteer fire departments were chosen as the 2025 recipients. Accepting the donations were Center Point Fire Chief Larry Littrell, Hunt Fire Chief Heath Turner and Ingram Fire Chief Dianna Baccus. — Submitted photos
