Theresa Britt, director of the Fredericksburg Community Orchestra, held a “Western Swing Christmas” celebration on Saturday, Dec. 6, at the Luckenbach Dance Hall. Britt (above, at left) led more than 20 violin and fiddle students with members of her Dirty Rotten Swing Band in western swing tunes. She also performed western swing music for three hours with the band for swing dancers. The event also featured a silent auction benefitting FCO and its mission to provide quality music education and performances in the area.
