Eric H. Nagel Jr., 87, of San Antonio, died Friday, Nov. 28, 2025.

Nagel was born in Fredericksburg on April 30, 1938, the son of Eric and Rena Nagel. After gradu-ating from Fredericksburg High School in 1956, he attended Southwestern University in Georgetown and the University of Texas at Austin, where he received his degree in elec-trical   engineering.

He worked many years in the U.S. space program, followed by a career with the City Public Service Board in San Antonio.
