A holiday drive focusing on daily living essentials, personal care items, clothing, office and safety supplies is under way for The Grace Center of Fredericksburg.

The domestic violence shelter has an Amazon wishlist where people can buy specific items.

Grand Central at Milam, 206 N. Milam St. in Fredericksburg will serve as a drop-off location.

The shelter is requesting some of the following items:

• Toilet paper;

• Tissues;

• Trash bags (kitchen and bathroom sizes);

• Dish soap;

• Cleaning supplies;

• Shampoo and conditioner; • Body wash and bar soap;

• Lotion and deodorant

• Hairbrushes and hair ties;

• Razors and shaving cream;

• Toothbrushes and toothpaste;

• Towels and washcloths;

• Women’s, men’s and children’s clothing (all sizes); • Socks and underwear (new only);

• Seasonal items (coats, gloves, swimwear);

• Bedding and home décor; • Reusable water bottles;

• First aid kits;

• Umbrellas and rain gear;

• Over the counter medicine and vitamins;

• Office supplies (pens, paper, notebooks, etc.), and

• Batteries. The drive will continue through Jan. 5.
