MIGHTY BILLIES

A group of third and fourth grade Gillespie County football players won the Fredericksburg Little Billies football league championship after defeating the Blanco Panthers JV, 44-0, in Comfort on Nov. 8. The team finished the season 10-0 and allowed one touchdown the entire season, which ran from September through November.
