Sydney Scheidemantel, AP teacher of American and European history at Fredericksburg High School (center holding a certificate) was awarded the Program for Continuing Education by the Philanthropic Educational Organization Fredericksburg- JO chapter in a ceremony in July. Scheidemantel was given $3,500 to complete a master’s degree in history from Missouri State University.
