OCTOBER 22, 1975

William M. (Bill) Petmecky, 71, died Saturday, Oct. 18. Petmecky was known as “Mr. Fredericksburg” to the outside world. He was a former Fredericksburg postmaster, former Gillespie County Tax Assessor-Collector, former president of the Gillespie County Fair Association and served in many other organizations in Gillespie County and across the state.
