State suspends CDLs for DACA, non-citizens

On Monday, Sept. 29, the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) announced it will no longer issue commercial driver licenses (CDLs) or commercial learners permits (CLPS) to non-citizens who are refugees, asylees or Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) recipients.
