Musicians from Drum Cafe USA, a national organization that brings interactive musical experiences to schools and teams, visited Fredericksburg Elementary School on Friday, Sept. 26. At left, Alseny Sylla, master drummer, played the djembe; Dale Monni, Cafe USA founder, led students in drumming a rhythmic beat on their own drums, and multi-percussionist Noah Mosgofian set the rhythm on dundun drums, snare drum and cymbals. The group included FES fifth graders and Harper Elementary School fourth and fifth graders.
