With the demand and expenses for City of Fredericksburg services on the rise, the city council voted Tuesday to increase its tax rate for the 2025 tax year, raise fees for landfill, garbage collection, drainage utility and water and sewage services. The council also adopted its $79 million 2026 fiscal year budget.
