We moved to Fredericksburg in 1999 for the same reason many others did — because it was a small town. My husband, Champe, owned a local business, and I worked for the school district. We quickly fell in love with the sense of community, the fundraisers, Friday night games and the events that made Fredericksburg feel like home.
