The Fredericksburg Police Department responded to 321 calls for service and made 232 traffic stops and six arrests between Monday, May 19 and Sunday, May 26.
Arrests
On Monday, May 19 at 5:19 p.m., an officer responded to a call for a man with warrants on the 100 block of Industrial Loop. The officer arrived on scene and made contact with the man, and dispatch confirmed the three warrants. Mathew Gage Taylor, 28, of Stonewall, was arrested for the warrants of assault intentionally or recklessly impeding breath or circulation of a family member with previous conviction if at trial, assault family/household member with a previous conviction if at trial and obstruction or retaliation. Taylor was transported to the Gillespie County Jail.
On Thursday, May 22 at 1:38 p.m., an officer responded to a call of a suspicious woman on the 700 block of South Creek Street. The officer arrived on scene and made contact with the woman. Dispatch advised the officer that the woman had a warrant from Comal County. April Desiree Pardo, 30, of Fredericksburg, was arrested for the warrant for violation of promise to appear – driving while intoxicated with a blood alcohol content above or equal to .015. On Saturday, May 24 at 12:48 a.m., an officer was on patrol at a business on the 300 block of East Main Street when they saw a woman hit a staff member on the head. Shortly after, a man and another woman intervened, causing a physical disturbance. The first woman, Victoria Abby Gale Revuelta, 30, of San Antonio, was arrested for disorderly conduct, fighting with another in a public place. Matthew Adam Revuelta, 31, of San Antonio, was arrested for public intoxication and disorderly conduct, fighting with another in a public place. The second woman, Amanda Maria Revuelta, 36, of San Antonio was arrested for disorderly conduct, fighting with another in a public place.
On Sunday, May 25 at 2:27 a.m., an officer on patrol observed a traffic violation, and made a stop on the 300 block of South Washington Street. The officer made contact with the man driving, who smelled like alchol and had red and glassy eyes. The officer gave field sobriety tests to the driver. Parth Parnerkar, 28, of Dallas, was arrested for driving while intoxicated.
Fraud
On Thursday, May 22, an officer spoke with a complainant about a fraudulent call. The complainant said they received a call demanding $7,000. No money or information was given out, and the complainant contacted their credit company. A report was made for documentation.
On Friday, May 23, an officer spoke with a complainant about fraud on their debit card. Transactions were made for $800 and $200, and according to the bank fraud alert, it is linked to a known local suspect. The complainant is working with their bank to get reimbursed. The report will be forwarded to the Criminal Investigations Division and a report number was given to the complainant.
On Friday, May 23, an officer spoke with a complainant about a fraudulent call. The call claimed to be a deputy from the Gillespie County Sheriff ’s Office, and the caller was yelling at the complainant for missing their court date. The number was private with no called ID and the complainant recorded the call. The complainant also said the caller had their correct address and birth date. The officer advised that this was a scam, and that the complainant should block the number. A report was made for documentation.
On Friday, May 23, a complainant spoke with an officer about attempted fraud. The complainant said someone had tried to use their bank account information. The call is still under investigation by the officer.
Theft
On Monday, May 19, an officer spoke with a complainant about a possible theft on the 300 block of East Travis Street. The complainant said they were missing mail. The complaint is under investigation by the officer.
On Sunday, May 25, an officer spoke with a complainant via phone about a possible theft. The complainant’s cell phone was missing, and was last seen on the 1100 block of South Adams Street. The complaint is still under investigation with the officer.
On Sunday, May 25, an officer spoke with a complainant regarding an identity theft. The complainant said their birth certificate and Social Security card were missing. The complaint is still under investigation with the officer.
