Peach Queen Court applications due Friday

Ladies enrolled in Gillespie County’s high schools as a sophomore, junior or senior for the 2025-26 school year are invited to try out for the Stonewall Peach Queen Court.

The new queen and duchesses will be crowned during the 64th annual Stonewall Peach JAMboree and Rodeo set for June 19-21.

Applications are due by Friday, May 30, in the contest sponsored by the Stonewall Chamber of Commerce.

Applications can be submitted by email to stonewallpeachcourt@gmail.com, by mail to the Stonewall Chamber of Commerce Attn: Peach Queen Court Committee, P.O. Box 1, Stonewall, TX 78671, or by bringing the application to a mandatory meeting at 6 p.m. Friday, May 30 at the Stonewall Chamber of Commerce for all candidates. A parent or guardian must attend the meeting with each candidate.

The 2025-26 Peach Queen will receive a $3,000 scholarship, and the duchesses will receive $2,500 scholarships.

The current Peach Court includes Queen Allie Benitez, First Duchess Isabella Sanchez and Second Duchess Jenevieve Hesker.
