Hospitality industry grant available to Hill Country women

Deadline to submit application is May 31

Texas Hill Country women pursuing educational opportunities in hospitality, culinary and beverage industries are eligible to apply for a grant offered by the San Antonio chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier.

Grant application deadline is Saturday, May 31. This funding from the international culinary leadership organization supports the growth of careers, ongoing studies and business needs for women in hospitality, culinary and beverage.

Candidates must reside in the Texas Hill Country, San Antonio or South Texas area at the time of application.

Applicants must be accepted for, or enrolled in, an accredited program associated with the fields of food, nutrition, beverages, hospitality, arts of the table, agriculture and other fields as they relate to these disciplines.

The programs need not be in the chapter region. Accredited programs can include, but are not limited to, degree or non-degree programs such as those offered on-line, at universities, culinary schools, cooking schools or wine education programs.

For more information, contact Elise Russ at scholarships@ ldeisa.org, elise@clementine-sa.com or call 828-458-1498.

Applications should be postmarked by May 31 and sent to the LDEI-SA, P.O. Box 15302, San Antonio, TX 78212 or emailed to scholarships@ldeisa.org with scholarship in the subject line.
