Our community was saddened to hear of the passing of Edna Baethge Miller on Friday, May 23. Our sympathies go to her sons, Michael and Bradley Baethge and their families.

Visitation for Edna is Wednesday, May 28 from 5-7 p.m. at Fredericksburg Funeral Home. Her funeral will be Thursday, May 29 at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home chapel.

Sympathy also goes to the family of Charlie Schmidt, of Mason, who passed away May 7.

Congratulations to Brendon and Morgan Roberson on the birth of their daughter, Shelby Leigh, on May 13. Her grandmother is Jill Pilcher.

The Gillespie County Republican Party is hosting a newcomer party on Thursday, June 5 from 6:30-8 p.m. at the Gillespie County Republican Headquarters, located at 904 W. Main St., Fredericksburg.
