CAMP CAVU, an immersive fiveday aviation camp designed for youth ages 14 to 18, will offer aspiring aviators the opportunity to explore the world of flight through a hands-on, educational experience this summer at the Gillespie County Airport.
Campers will participate in a comprehensive aviation program that includes:
• Four hours of flight time with certified instructors; • Flight simulator training;
• Aviation books and pilot supplies; • Online ground school;
• Airport tours and special aviation- related activities.
Two camp sessions are available for June 23-27 and July 7-11.
CAMP CAVU is located at Gillespie County Airport T82 Hangar.
Lodging is available for out-oftown participants.
