POLICE ACCIDENT REPORT

The Fredericksburg Police Department responded to 11 wrecks — one major and 10 minor — between Monday, April 28 and Sunday, May 4.

The Fredericksburg Police Department responded to 11 wrecks — one major and 10 minor — between Monday, April 28 and Sunday, May 4.

Major

On Tuesday, April 29, an officer responded to a singlevehicle wreck on the 1600 block of FM 2093. The driver was seen by emergency medical services (EMS) and was transported to the local emergency room for a possible medical episode. A report was made for the driver’s insurance.

Minor

On Monday, April 28, an officer responded to a twovehicle wreck on the 1400 block of U.S. 87 South. No injuries were reported and both drivers were given exchange forms.

FPD responded to two wrecks on Wednesday, April 30, both with no injuries. The first was on the 100 block of South Washington Street. The second was at Texas 16 South and Pyka Road, and the driver of unit one was given a warning for failure to stop at a stop sign, and the driver of unit two was given a warning for disorderly conduct.

On Thursday, May 1, an officer responded to a two-vehicle wreck with no reported injuries on the 500 block of West Austin Street. Drivers exchange forms were provided and uploaded into the insurance report.

On Friday, May 2, an officer responded to a two-vehicle wreck at South Adams and West Live Oak streets. The driver of unit two was seen by EMS and signed a medical refusal form. The driver of unit one was given a warning for failure to yield right of way. Both drivers were given exchange forms.

FPD responded to five other wrecks on Friday, May 2, all with no injuries. Drivers exchange forms were provided at all of the following wrecks: 1100 block of Texas 16 South, 500 block of Friendship Lane, South Washington and East Highway streets, 400 block of East Main Street and the 800 block of South Adams Street. At the South Adams Street wreck, the driver of unit one was given a warning for following too closely.
