Week of wrecks: Dec. 30 – Jan. 5

The Fredericksburg Police Department responded to 13 minor traffic collisions between Monday, Dec. 30 and Sunday, Jan. 5.

On Monday, Dec. 30, an officer was dispatched to the 300 block of South Adams Street in regard to a two-vehicle minor collision. No injuries were reported. Both drivers were provided with driver exchange forms.

On Monday, Dec. 30, an officer was dispatched to North Elk and East Main streets in regard to a twovehicle minor collision. No injuries were reported. Both drivers were provided with driver exchange forms.

On Tuesday, Dec. 31, an officer was dispatched to the 400 block of South Adams Street for a twovehicle minor collision. No injuries were reported. Both drivers were provided with driver exchange forms.

On Wednesday, Jan. 1, an officer was dispatched to West Main and South Crockett streets for a twovehicle minor collision. No injuries were reported. Both drivers were provided with driver exchange forms. The driver of unit one was issued two warnings: one for turning left from the wrong lane and another for a U-turn.

On Thursday, Jan. 2, an officer was dispatched to the 1400 block of East Main Street for a minor two-vehicle collision. No injuries were reported. Both drivers were provided with driver exchange forms.

On Thursday, Jan. 2, an officer was dispatched to the 800 block of East Main Street for a minor two-vehicle collision. No injuries were reported. Both drivers were provided with driver exchange forms.

On Friday, Jan. 3, an officer was dispatched to North Crockett and West Main streets in regard to a two-vehicle minor collision. No injuries were reported. Both drivers were provided with driver exchange forms. The driver of unit one was issued a warning for no driver’s license and failure to yield to right of way turning left. On Friday, Jan. 3, an officer was dispatched to the 1400 block of East Main Street for an accident that occurred in the parking lot. The vehicle was hit while the complainant was shopping. The accident was documented for insurance purposes.

On Friday, Jan. 3, an officer was dispatched to West Main and South Crockett streets in regard to damage to the complainant’s vehicle while it was parked. The accident was documented for insurance purposes.

On Friday, Jan. 3, an officer was dispatched to the area of Washington and East Main streets for a two-vehicle minor traffic accident. No injuries were reported. There was little damage and neither party requested an accident report.

On Saturday, Jan. 4, an officer was dispatched to North Pecan and West College streets in regard to an accident where a vehicle backed into a stop sign. No injuries were reported. On Sunday, Jan. 5, an officer was dispatched to the 1400 block of East Main Street for a minor two-vehicle collision. No injuries were reported. Both drivers were provided with driver exchange forms.

On Sunday, Jan. 5, an officer was dispatched to the 1400 block of East Main Street for a hit and run in the parking lot. There was minor damage to the vehicle.
