Long odds didn’t bother Max Hirsch. Never mind that winning the Kentucky Derby is right up there with throwing a perfect game, a victory at The Masters or swatting a mosquito with a pencil. It’s difficult to do once and almost impossible to do twice. His horses won the Derby three times.
