The Hill Country Master Gardeners’ Fall Festival will be Saturday, Oct. 26, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m., at the Kerr County AgriLife Extension Office, 3775 Texas Highway 27 in Kerrville.
Planned classes include a 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. rainwater management session. Garden tours will occur throughout the event, and certified Master Gardeners will be on site to answer horiculture questions.
Junior Master Gardeners and Kerr County 4-H members will also share their growing and other projects. Treats will be available for kids, and guests will have the chance to meet Mabel, the hen, and her friends.
“Fall might be my favorite time of year,” Kay Nelson, chairman of the Fall Festival, said. “The gardens are a knockout now and the fall colors glorious. Come rain or shine, we’ll be there to answer questions, share expertise and offer a great time in the garden.”
