The Kramer family and friends traveled on the American Pride, a paddlewheeler steamboat on the Columbia and Snake Rivers, following the path of the Lewis and Clark Expedition. They took the Fredericksburg Standard-Radio Post along with them to Multnomah Falls, Oregon.
