Danny and Sandy Poole’s 60th anniversary is Thursday, Sept. 5. The couple celebrated by going on a Columbia, Snake River cruise in July and by going to the beach with family members in August. The couple has a daughter, Dawn, and son-in-law Carey Cillis; granddaughter Jessica and grandson- in-law Isaac Cook; daughter Tamie and sonin- law Darin Carlson, and grandchildren Rachael and Luke Carlson. Sandy (Sandra Gold) was born in Fredericksburg. Danny retired from Exxon Mobil and Sandy retired from Cypress Fairbanks School District. The couple enjoys their retirement in Fredericksburg where they volunteer for numerous civic activities. — Submitted photo
