Gasoline prices fall in time for summer travel season

Summer travelers are pleased that gas prices have fallen 27 cents in the past month as the travel season hits. Six states now have average prices below $3 per gallon, according to GasBuddy.

Average gasoline prices in Texas have fallen 13.2 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $2.90/g today, according to GasBuddy’s survey of 13,114 stations in Texas.
