Thirty-one seventh grade students in Shannon Donoghue’s English class at St. Mary’s Catholic School traveled to Heritage Place Assisted Living for a “Life in Review” project. The students interviewed residents about their earlier lives. Students heard first-hand accounts of teaching in one-room schools, being born during the Great Depression, and working on family farms and ranches. The seniors also talked about values they taught their children and what fascinates them about changes in today’s world.
