Now in its fifth year, the Texas Fandango Bike Show and swap meet, held over the weekend at the Gillespie County Fair Grounds, has become a major attraction for vintage motorcycle afficionados from across the country. In addition to a swap meet and show prizes, riders held races, including the Canonball cross country chase and the “Century Lap” of motorbikes at least 100 years old. The “Best Chopper” competition was also popular. Proceeds from the event helped to benefit the Optimist Club of Fredericksburg.
