FHS slides into softball season with a win over Johnson City

The Fredericksburg High School varsity girls’ softball team took advantage of full sunshine and cool temperatures Monday afternoon during a 10-3 win over Johnson City at the FHS Softball Field.
“We are a fast, athletic team and when we maintain a disciplined approach, execute and put contact on the ball, we create opportunities for success,” Head Coach Tim Scherwin said. “I felt like we were able to do that in spurts today.”
