New Year’s Eve shindig ahead

This year’s New Year’s Eve Marktplatz ball drop celebration will take visitors back in time – the Jurassic Period.

The City of Fredericksburg invited some prehistoric guests to greet visitors and help ring in the new year — dinosaurs.

The countdown to the 2024 ball drop is scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 31 at Marktplatz from 3-6:30 p.m.
