The Fredericksburg City Council discussed the ongoing drought at its regular meeting Tuesday, Dec. 19.

“This is something we’re going to continue to concentrate on,” City Manager Clinton Bailey said. “We’ve done a lot of good work, and we’re exactly where we need to be.”

On average, the City of Fredericksburg came up short on its water pumpage reduction goal of 20%, but “we did a lot better than Stage 3,” Bailey said.
