The Fredericksburg Volunteers in Police Support (FVPS) will celebrate 24 years on Thursday, Nov. 9 at the Tatsch House in Lady Bird Johnson Municipal Park.

The festivities will commence at 6 p.m. with a short business meeting and officer elections. A covered dish meal will follow at 6:30 p.m.

All previous students of any of the Citizen Police Academy sessions are invited to attend.

“Please bring a dish and come join the celebration,” a spokesperson said.
