Perryman: ‘Lot of good here’

Dr. Ray Perryman, one of the Lone Star State’s foremost economists, likes Fredericksburg.

“I’ve been going through this place and stopping for peaches and wine most of my life,” Perryman told the crowd of about 150 on Wednesday, Oct. 18 at the Rockbox Theater. “Bottom line is this is a wonderful place. You’ve managed to keep that feeling that makes people want to come here. I think your economy is going to do quite well going forward.”
