Emma Geistweidt, left, and Shanese Lochte work the serving line at the 4-H barbecue held at the Adelsverein Hall at Marktplatz last Friday following the Gillespie County Fair Parade. The fundraiser helps Gillespie 4-H adult leaders support 4-H students with learning and leadership opportunities at the county, district and state levels. Approximately 1,100 plates of barbecue were served.
