The Harper Longhorns varsity baseball team finished last season with a record of 25-9.

The Texas Press Association (TPA) took notice of one of the Longhorns who helped Harper achieve a deep post season run this past spring.

The TPA announced the Blue Bell/Texas Sports Writers Association Class 2A All-State Baseball Team.

Jackson Davis of Harper received Honorable Mention for his accomplishments on the baseball field.

Davis spent most of his senior season as a first baseman for the Harper Longhorns.
