NJROTC chapter still needs more recruits

Fredericksburg High School Navy Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps is struggling to meet its required number of cadets to stay in code.

Major Devin Mullen, senior naval science instructor at FHS, said the program has about 35 cadets left after graduation, short of the Navy’s 100-student requirement. If the program is not able to increase its recruitment, the program could be put on probation and ultimately face disbandment.
