FISD passes $61M budget
The Fredericksburg Inde-pendent School District board of trustees on Monday approved a general operating budget of about $61.7 million, 42% of which will be sent back to the state for recapture, a practice known as “Robin Hood.”
The board also set the school nutrition budget at $2.7 million, most of which will go toward food and payroll.
