The Fredericksburg City Council met for its bi-weekly regular meeting Tuesday to discuss a charter review committee and consider the council’s recognition, proclamation and honor policy.

Also on the docket was an update from City Manager Clinton Bailey on developments, projects, financial and miscellaneous topics (including Fire Department, EMS and police, as well as staff vacancies).

Discussions concerning housing affordability and the urgent city lifeguard shortages continued.
