New county budget gets approval

Gillespie County Commissioners approved the budget for the 2023 fiscal year during their regular meeting on Monday, Sept. 12. A public hearing took place on Sept. 6 where the final review for the new budget was discussed. Inflation posed the biggest challenge for the court in consideration of the county
