The final swine validation takes place Thursday, Nov. 18, from 3-6 p.m. at the Gillespie County Fair Grounds. Any animal to be entered in the Gillespie County Youth Livestock Show needs to be validated (the only exception is Angora goats). At validation, a tag will be placed in the animal’s ear,
