County meet hosts twenty horse races

Twenty races were run on Saturday and Sunday as part of the Gillespie County Race Meet at the Gillespie County Fair Grounds. A total of 2,258 fans wagered $234,386 on Saturday and Sunday at the local Class III track. Of the wagering handle, $187,284 was paid out to bettors. On Saturday, 1,242 fans
